I’ve always loved the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s aircraft, none more so than the Avro Lancaster. I’ve painted/drawn her several times.
This painting began as a request, for someone who lived locally and regularly saw the Lancaster from their home, especially liking it when the aircraft flew over Tattershall Castle while in the circuit.
I enjoyed this little acrylic, spending more time on the foliage than the aircraft!
