I always loved the SEPECAT Jaguar. It always looked (to me) too small to carry the many stores under and ON the wing, and under the fuselage. The Anglo-French project started with the aircraft intended as a 2 seat trainer for the UK, but that wasn’t to be! In addition to the RAF and the Armée de l’air, it was exported to Oman, Ecuador, Nigeria and India. It’s good to know it’s still in service with the Indian Air Force in substantial numbers (with a final withdrawal date of 2038 proposed!). My drawing, taken from one of my ground shots, shows a Royal Air Force aircraft on patrol over the former Yugoslavia during the Balkan conflict, providing cover when needed. It was good to get special prints signed at RAF Coltishall while it was still open.
