Whilst visiting Old Warden, Bedfordshire (The Shuttleworth Collection) for the first time, I was close to the ‘action’.
Seeing this scene I knew it had to be painted! I loved the reversal of scale – with the nearer (model) aircraft being so much smaller than the Collection’s Hawker Hind in the background.
